breadman ultimate bread maker tr2200c Assistive Tip
I have had my Breadman ultimate TR2200C for nearly eight years now. I bake one to three loaves per week, and figure I have made over a thousand loaves with this machine alone. I love being able to program and experiment with different recipes, rising and heating cycles, etc. If you are a real bread baker, or you want to learn and need the flexibility to experiment with your breads, this is the machine for you.
I have to say that mine has been a real workhorse–it keeps chugging away. I killed the first pan and paddle after about three years, and my second one is dead now. (The second one got better care.) I was considering replacing it, but the inside clips that are supposed to hold the pan tight are getting loose now. A few times, the pan has hopped right out and then there is a REAL racket! At this point I think there is just too much “movement” in the whole machine, but I *definitely* got my money’s worth.
Pros: This machine just keeps working. The recipes were a real help to get me started, and I like having the cycles all laid out in the chart in the manual. (If you haven’t seen it, the manual comes with a complete listing of times and temperatures for each cycle or cycle variation.) I don’t use the add-in tray much and it doesn’t seem to work anymore–this could be an issue of it getting gummed up though. This is a one-paddle model–if I haven’t measured carefully the dough doesn’t pick up everything from the sides and I have to scrape them down. However, it makes a distinctive sound when the dough is kneading properly, so I just try to stop by and listen while it is working. I’ve never had a yeast rising problem, but live in the Arizona desert for what it is worth. (Note: I always use baker’s yeast and gently mix it in with the flour right at the top above the paddle.) I use delay bake all the time and never have a problem, but generally use a preheated cycle.
Cons: It took Salton four MONTHS to replace my pan and paddle. Lots of nice people with promises, but it was back-ordered “10 days or so” FOREVER. Now that the machine is wearing out, I have to be very sure the pan is clipped in, or it will “jump up” above the shaft and bang around. This is a very recent problem though. I will be buying another Breadman high-end model, just haven’t decided which one.Breadman TR2200C Ultimate Bread Machine

Great a breadman bread maker Research
My brother gave me a Breadman for Christmas years ago. When it finally gave up the ghost after years of intensive use, I decided to replace with another Breadman. What a mistake!
It worked allright for about the first 3-4 uses, after which I decided to send in my registration info (I always like to make sure I’m going to keep the product first).
Shortly after that, I began hearing a dreadful grinding noise on the knead cycle! Many emails and calls back and forth to “customer care” have resolved nothing. There is no service center in my area, the date code on the machine renders it out of warranty, I can’t find the original receipt, and they won’t tell me, from my registration info, where I bought it (which would help me locate the receipt).
Yeah, maybe my filing system sucks, but I would at least expect a more courteous response than, “We can’t locate your registration info, but you can buy the latest model for $140.”
Will definitely be looking for a different model next time!

Great breadman plus bread maker Reviews
This machine was so great while it lasted. I almost always used the dough setting and shaped and baked the loaves myself. I was baking about 2 lbs of bread every 3 weeks or so. It was delicious and so simple. The numbers are hard to read, but that was a small price to pay.
However, after about 9 months of use, I find my machine no longer mixes the dough properly. In my last 3-4 batches, the dough did not mix well and bubbled over the sides. I still use the machine to start off the process but have to pull it out mid-cycle and knead it by hand. What a mess. Only slightly more convenient than doing it myself. I say, spend the extra money and get a bread machine that will last you. Now I have to figure out if its worth it for me to invest in a new one.

Specific breadman ultimate bread maker tr2200c Information
I was given this bread machine and it was used but well cared for but the instruction manual had been misplaced. So having never made bread before I looked up a recipe on the internet and did what it said and surprise-really perfect bread the first time, and the next, and the next. This machine does the work and does it at the right time. Real cooks, which I am not, tried my bread and all said it was better than they could make themselves. I like how the control panel lets me know what is happening, mixing, kneading, rise cycle, baking and it has a window to let me peek in and see it working. If I can make homemade bread with this, trust me, any one can-it is that easy.

breadman ultimate bread maker Related Roadmap
I’ve owned this machine for 2 years, and it’s always worked great. My bread comes out nicely every time. The instruction booklet provides an incredible amount of bread recipes, so if you just want to follow a recipe and get bread, the book is fantastically helpful. The recipes towards the back cater towards people with food alergies. If you want to experiment, look at R. Vancamp’s recommendations. I’ve made some phenomenal loafs of bread by adding in different breakfast cerials. It’s generally easy to clean by simply rinsing it out (with 1 exception; see below), most of the recipes are spot on, and it doesn’t walk across your counter while making your bread.
Of the minor complaints that I could come up with, the first unit that was sent to me broke when I received it; I plugged it in once, decided to move it somewhere else, and then plugged it in a second time - then it shorted & broke; I was fussing with the plug a bit reaching around the corner, so I likely had an intermittent connection or two while plugging it in that zapped the machine. I sent it back to the manufacturer, and they sent me back a fixed one. I’ve plugged it in and out many times since, without ever having the problem again, so it’s likely a fluke.
The other minor complaint I have comes from trying to clean the mixer paddle. If you haven’t made bread yet, you’ll find out quickly that fresh, hot bread turns into a crouton very quickly. Unfortunately for the breadmaker, this means that the mixer paddle gets bread-cemented onto its mixing post. So, removing the paddle for cleaning can sometimes be impossible…I sometimes turn a blind eye to it, and just leave it dirty.

Helpful breadman tr875 bread maker Sources
I bought the Breadman TR875 back in December of 2008 and one word describes this device: Wow!
I have made most of the recipes in the manual and a lot from recipes I found online. All have been great. There have been a couple that have not risen properly but those were store bought bread machine brands.
I have mostly made the 1.5 lb sizes as sometimes the 2 lb loaves rise too high and touch the viewing window. Also 2 lb is a lot of bread and bread machine loaves are best eaten within 1 - 2 days.
Sometimes the paddle comes off and is stuck inside the completed baked bread but usually it stays on. It’s all in how you shake the bread out when it’s done I think.
The outside of the Breadman is not hot at all so it can go against backsplashes. One thing I did not know was to separate the salt and suger that is added to the breadpan. None of the recipes in the manual mention this so be sure to add the liquids first, then the flour, and THEN the salt and suger (if needed) to opposite sides of the breadpan.
All in all, this is a great device and I can honestly say I have not bought ANY store bread brands since I have had this. I did an Excel spreadsheet listing the bread I would have bought from November to June and offset the flour and bread supplies that I bought, I saved over $200 in that eight month period.

My last Breadman was a vertical, much better. On second use It stopped kneading. The nut came off from the pulley. When advising Breadman They seamed not to care. For the price you expect better quality.
